Defender und Discoverys
wühlen sich über nasse Waldwege, bahnen sich den Weg bergauf
über aufgeweichte Holzrückegassen. Entwurzelte Bäume
werden zur Seite gezogen und das an Ort und Stelle zersägte Holz
sofort fürs abendliche Lagerfeuer auf den Dachträgern unserer
Land Rover verstaut ..., denn wo die Straßen enden, beginnt mit
einem Land Rover das Abenteuer!

Defenders
and Discoverys plough over wet forest tracks, force their way uphill
on sodden log trails. Uprooted trees are pulled aside and the chopped
wood for the evening camp fire is hauled onto the roof racks of
our Land Rovers ..., where the road ends, the adventure begins with
a Land Rover! |
Ausgewaschene Pfade führen unsere Land Rover durch tiefe Wälder,
weite Brachflächen sind zu überqueren, Morast behindert immer
wieder das Weiterkommen, Hindernisse werden in Teamarbeit aus dem Weg
geräumt, Schlammkaskaden spritzen empor und die Scheibenwischer
arbeiten im Dauerbetrieb: "Euro-Landy-Day".

Along
eroded tracks our Land Rovers wind through deep forests. We have
to cross wide expanses of wasteland, mire repeatedly bogs us down,
working in teams, we clear obstacles out of our way, fountains of
mud spray up and the windscreen wipers work non-stop: that's the
Euro-Landy-Day. |
Abends erreichen wir eine entlegene Lichtung inmitten der dichten Wälder.
Die Zelte werden aufgeschlagen und schon bald prasselt das Lagerfeuer.
Vom Holzkohlegrill zieht ein herzhafter Duft durchs Camp und bis spät
in die Nacht sitzen wir zusammen. Die Land Rover stehen im weiten Bogen
um die Feuerstelle herum und der flackernde Schein taucht das Camp in
ein eindrucksvolles Licht. Eine Atmosphäre von Freiheit und Abenteuer.

In
the evening we reach a remote clearing in the middle of the dense
forest. We pitch our tents and soon the camp fire is crackling.
A hearty smell wafts over the camp from the charcoal barbecue and
we sit together until late in the night. The Land Rovers form a
wide ringed sentry around the fire, whose flickering glow immerses
the camp in a mysterious light, setting an ambience of freedom and
adventure. |
Ist es auf den Offroad-Tracks in dieser Region trocken, hat man mit
einem Landy Spaß – ist es hier nass, hat man sehr viel Spaß!
Auf jeden Fall sind wir aber davon überzeugt, dass bereits ein
serienmäßiger Land Rover so geländegängig ist,
dass irgendwelche Umbauten am Landy eigentlich gar nicht notwendig sind.
Denn egal ob knochentrocken oder triefendnass: Mit Landys und Teamgeist
kommt man überall durch ...! Also, runter vom Sofa und ab zum "Euro-Landy-Day".

If
it's dry on this off road tracks, you have fun with your Land Rover
- if it's wet, you have great fun! At any rate we are confident
that even a standard Land Rover is sufficiently off-road-capable
to manage our tours without any enhancements. Because no matter
whether bone dry or dripping wet: with Land Rovers and team spirit
you always get through ...! So get off the couch and get on your
way to the "Euro-Landy-Day".
